Heather Anderson

Heather obtained her Bachelor’s in Elementary Education at the University of Idaho, then went on to pursue her Master’s in Education Media Design and Technology from Full Sail University. She taught for 12 years, running the gamut from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Her favorite moments in the classroom were filled with the incorporation of technology and new innovative ways to solve problems. She then gained experience through becoming a Learning Management System and Online Curriculum Manager, which led her to finding joy in helping people learn about, and troubleshoot, the programs and technologies they use everyday in education. She joined the IDLA team in 2022 and is excited to help the IDLA community as a Technology Support Specialist.

Natalie VanLeuven

Natalie earned her Speech Communication and Secondary Education degrees from Idaho State University (Go, Bengals!) She is a native to Pocatello and has been teaching Business Education and Computer Science in Idaho for ten years. She has taught high school and middle school in brick and mortar schools and fully online. She joined IDLA as a part-time instructor for Electives/Computer Science in 2017 and is now excited to work with the IDLA content team as a Computer Science Course Specialist. She looks forward to gaining new experience in this role with IDLA.

Annie Reichelt

Annie Reichelt began teaching and learning in Idaho in 2010. She taught at Bonneville School district and at IDLA.  Annie obtained a MS in Science Education from Montana State University. Annie serves as a content specialist, science lead, and science teacher with IDLA.

Julie Best

I love working to solve problems and find innovative solutions using technology in education! I have worked in technology for over 20 years and education for a large portion of that supporting school district and state level implementation of video conference, broadband, online learning platforms and data related projects. Ed tech continues to be a great place of excitement and joy for me and students are always my “why”!

Callie Pugel

Callie Pugel is the Lead Mentor World Languages Teacher at IDLA. She is a graduate of Northwest Nazarene University – Go Nighthawks! She holds two B.As in Spanish Education and Spanish History, as well as a M.A in Curriculum, Instruction and Innovation. Callie started teaching in 2015 and believes that all students have the ability to be functional in Spanish. When Callie isn’t teaching you can find her hiking, spending time with family, dreaming about Disneyland, learning to Salsa dance and enjoying a slice of cake.

Kaitlin Emonnot

Kaitlin graduated from Boise State University with a degree in History, Social Studies, Secondary Education. She taught in the West Ada School District for six years before transferring to IDLA in 2021. As an educator, Kaitlin utilized a variety of technological resources in the classroom and is excited to continue supporting students as a Technology Support Specialist.

Angie Morrow

In January 2021, Angie joined Idaho Digital Learning Alliance as Student Services Specialist. Before that, she was an IDLA Site Coordinator at Clearwater Valley High School for 10 years. Coming from such a small town, she has a passion for IDLA as her own children and previous students have had a whole new world of opportunities opened up to them by utilizing IDLA courses.
