Once your child registers they will enroll for orientation.
- Orientation is one-time prerequisite for all Idaho Digital Learning courses.
- It provides a self-guided introduction to the basic computer skills needed to function in the online environment using Blackboard software.
- This course is intended to prepare your child with a fundamental understanding of online rules and responsibilities. Unlike our regular courses, orientation does not have a teacher associated with it.
- Your child is required to independently complete orientation within a two-week time frame before the beginning of the term. If orientation is not completed, the student will be removed from your course.
- The orientation takes approximately 5-10 hours to finish.
