What is Tech Prep? Tech Prep is one of four advanced learning opportunities recognized by the State Board of Education that links approved technical and academic high school courses to certificate and degree programs at the postsecondary level. Through articulation agreements with the six regions throughout Idaho, students can earn high school and college credit through various Professional-Technical Education programs. Why Tech Prep? Tech Prep provides students with the technical skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary to prepare for high skill, high wage, or high demand occupations in current or emerging professions. Through Tech Prep, students can earn college credit in professional programs at significantly reduced tuition costs.
