Who We Are

Idaho Digital Learning works in partnership with Idaho school districts to offer online choices that would not otherwise exist. This increases access and equity for students statewide.

  • Envisioned by Idaho Superintendent Association in 2001 and established by Legislature in 2002.
  • Idaho Digital Learning Legislation 
  • Idaho's state online school provides middle school and high school courses to 98% of the school districts.
  • Through Idaho Digital Learning’s online infrastructure students across the state, including those in the most remote areas, are connected with highly qualified teachers.
  • More than 14,000 student enrollments in 2009-2010…a total of 40,000 Idaho student enrollments since IDLA’s inception.
  • Idaho Digital Learning is a national leader in online learning; ranked 3rd in the U.S. for Online Learning Policy and Practice. (Center for Digital Education, 2008)
