Accreditation & Accolades

Idaho Digital Learning Academy is a state-sponsored, accredited, state virtual school created through the Idaho State Legislature (Title 33, Chapter 55).

Our goal is to provide Idaho students with greater access to a diverse assortment of courses and highly qualified faculty. This virtual school was created to address the education needs of all Idaho students: traditional, at-risk, and gifted students.

IDLA Wins Blackboard Catalyst Award

April 2012 - Idaho Digital Learning was named a winner of the Blackboard Catalyst Award for Staff Development, which honors those members of the community who use Blackboard solutions to create, support and enhance faculty and staff development skills, providing a better organization-wide learning experience.

IDLA inducted into "Hall of Fame for Excellence in Collaboration"

Orlando, FL – Wimba® Inc, a leading provider of collaborative solutions for educators around the world, announced its inaugural class of "Hall of Fame for Excellence in Collaboration" inductees on Tuesday, March 24, 2010 during an awards ceremony held at the company's third annual user conference.

"We are honored to be among the highly qualified nominees to receive this award from Wimba," said Mike Caldwell, IDLA Director of Supervision & Development. "This recognizes the collaboration and partnerships that IDLA has created with the many educational partners across the state of Idaho."

Idaho Digital Learning was Nationally Ranked #3 in the nation in 2008 for "on-line learning, policy, and practice" by The Center for Digital Education.
